Tanjay City Division proudly congratulates the most improved learners in the Fundamental Academic Skills (TOFAS) assessment, recognized at the TOFAS Awards Ceremony on October 26, 2024 at Calindagan Elementary School, Dumaguete City. TOFAS is an online assessment designed to gauge mastery in the four fundamental operations in numbers, administered across all grade levels. The pre -test was administered in the School Year 2023-2024, followed by the post-test this year.
The most improved learners were identified by Sprix Philippines, and the top five students from Region 7, along with their Math teachers and school heads, will enjoy a three-day and two-night educational trip to Japan on April 2025 fully sponsored by Sprix Philippines. While our learners from the Division of Tanjay City were not selected for the trip, their accomplishments are nonetheless commendable.
From Pamplona National High School headed by the Principal Mrs. Mary Gwen S. Sido, recognized learners include John Andrei Z. Adalia and Ralph Dominic V. Ching under the guidance of their Math teacher, Mr. Ruben T. Lopez.
Inawasan Community Provincial High School under the leadership of Ms. Jenelyn H. Olis, celebrated the achievements of Nova Mae T. Limbaga, John Andrei C. Lara, and Mery Alyza A. Rodriguez whose Mathematics teachers are Mr. Don Wendell B. Dalleda and Mr. Rowel C. Gara respectively.
The collaboration of DepEd and Sprix Philippines not only highlights the achievement of the learners but also showcases the invaluable support of their teachers and school heads. Let’s celebrate their hard work and the bright futures ahead!
