Tanjay City Division headed by Dr. Estela B. Susvilla through Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) headed by our OIC CID Chief, Dr. Adonis A. Torres conducted a 3-Day Training of School Heads and Receiving Teachers on Strategies and Accommodations on October 16-18, 2024 at Melanias Garden, Tanjay City.

The training was attended by two hundred eleven participants who are cluster/district heads, school heads in all levels, receiving teachers and SPED teachers. 

The main goal of the training is to equip cluster/district heads, school heads, receiving  and SPED teachers with knowledge , skills and values on handling learners with special educational needs . That the learners with special educational needs will be properly  accommodated in the different schools. That the school heads can properly give Technical Assistance to their teachers regarding handling learners with special needs. That the cluster/district heads can also give Technical assistance to schools if necessary.

The training was facilitated by Doctor Randy V. Ruiz, cluster head of Pamplona Cluster 1, Mrs. Aloma T. Rasonable, district head of Tanjay City South District, Mrs. Yolanda F. Garrido, principal of Plaza Central School, Mrs. Mary Gwen S. Sido, principal of Pamplona National High School and yours truly, Division Supervisor in Special Needs Education (SNED). We were the division representatives during the regional training on Strategies and Accommodations of Learners with Special Educational Needs.

The training was successful and all the participants district heads, cluster heads and  the teachers were grateful for the said training which they find  helpful for the implementation of Inclusive Education in their respective cluster/districts and schools.

After the training, the School heads and the trained teachers will cascade the training to all teachers through School LAC.

With the conduct of the training, Tanjay City Division is now ready for Inclusive Education.
