Tanjay City Division headed by Dr. Estela B. Susvilla through Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) headed by our OIC CID Chief, Dr. Adonis A. Torres conducted a 2-Day Division Workshop on RA 11650 on August 1-2, 2024 at Melanias Garden, Tanjay City.

          RA 11650 is an Act Instituting a Policy of Inclusion and Services for Learners with Disabilities in Support of Inclusive Education, Establishing Inclusive Learning Resource Centers of Learners With Disabilities in All School Districts, Municipalities and Cities, Providing for Standards, Appropriating Funds, and For Other Purposes.

          The workshop was attended by cluster/district heads, select school heads and teachers and all SPED item teachers.

          Facilitators were the ones trained in the region on RA 11650 namely: Dr. Catherine R. Ferrater, Cluster Head of Pamplona 3, Mrs. Aloma T. Rasonable, District Head of Tanjay City South District, Mrs. Rosemarie B. Lado, school head of Inawasan ES and yours truly as the Division Focal for Special Needs Education (SNED).           The 2-Day Workshop was successful and the participants were indeed equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes (KSAs) on Inclusive Education Act.
